Andjou Cosmetics is a beauty brand dedicated to African women. It is during her years in Kinshasa that Kindja Muongo, made an observation: African women have very few choices in terms of quality cosmetics.
More than 30% of all beauty products on the African market are counterfeit products; poor quality replicas of branded products. With its first product, a mattifying foundation, Andjou Cosmetics aims to be the first cosmetics brand accessible to African women consumers and include them in the beauty 2.0 movement.
« For me becoming an entrepreneur was about being able to share my vision with others and see if we could align. I’m more free in how to handle certain things, and that’s very rewarding. »
